Wednesday, Jan. 14	First BUUF meeting in 2015
The next REGULAR BUUF BOARD meeting will be December 10 at 8:30 p.m. after the regular meeting.
Duncan will take a picture of the Board for the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, so be sure to attend if you are able.  We’ll try to keep the meeting short!
We will meet at the home of Carolyn Grieve and Dick Puckett on Sunday, December 14 at 1:30 p.m. for our annual BUUF Holiday Party.
	If your last name begins with A through O, bring a salad or main dish.
	If your last name begins with P through Z, bring a dessert.  
	Our hosts will have smoked turkey and beverages.  Vegetarian dishes are welcome.

The women of the BUUF meet the third Thursday of each month for lunch and conversation.
We’ll meet at 11:30 a.m. on Thurs., December 18 at Wild Marsh Golf Course.

One of the most popular parts of our meetings is the time we spend at the beginning of the evening enjoying refreshments and social time.  Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to provide refreshments for our meetings through the end of 2014:

The MidAmerica Region of the UUA will hold its annual Regional Assembly April 17 – 19, 2015 at the Marriott Hotel in Naperville, Illinois.  The theme of the conference is to be “The ‘New’ in the New Era of Unitarian Universalism.”  Speakers will be:
Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt, new president at Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, California.  She is a UU World contributing editor, former editor of the New Your Times Book Review, author of three books, and until June 2014 was senior minister of the Fourth Universalist Society in New York City.
Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, senior minister at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma; in 2008, All Souls became the largest UU congregation in the USA with over 1800 adult members.
